The main thing I wanted from a surgeon was honesty and the ability to carry out the surgery I wanted, in a professional, friendly manner and with my best interests being top priority. All of these I found in Mr Juma plus more.

I decided I wanted to have Liposuction following a weight loss. I found I had pockets of fat that no amount of exercise would shift. I must have been to every Cosmetic Surgery company in Manchester. Although I have no doubt these places are professional etc, I just didn’t feel that I was given the opportunity to speak enough to the person that mattered. The surgeon. This is where Mr Juma was different. Although he was out of my area, it was worth travelling the distance to have the care, advice and treatment I received.

From the first appointment to the very last, I felt that I was listened to and everything was explained thoroughly. I was made aware of all aspects of the surgery including any risks. I felt that Mr Juma likes to make you more aware of the risks than he does the benefits. He wants you to fully understand what the procedure is all about. I felt that throughout the whole process Mr Juma was realistic and he kept me that way too. I feel this is vital from a surgeon, thinking you are going to wake up looking like Cindy Crawford is unfortunately not possible.

I was given the opportunity to see Mr Juma as many times as I needed in order to make sure I understood the process. He even took the time to explain things to my partner and treated him like he was involved also. Following the surgery, because of the amount of information I received beforehand, nothing was a surprise or a worry.

I was delighted with the results, not only have I got a body that is more in proportion but I have a new found confidence. Clothes fit me better. You can’t even notice my scars. Surgery is not something to be taken lightly and you have to be able to put your trust in the person carrying it out for you. I did this with Mr Juma and I have never looked back.

I would like to say a big thank you to him and his team. Everyone I came into contact with looked after me so well. He is a talented surgeon and he cares about his work. All this is evident when you see the results.
